Oh yeah, I recently purchased the complete nine seasons of XF, pirated DVD of course. I’m still on the 4th season though and I watched the episode last night on Musings of the Cigarette Smoking Man”.
There was this line when CSM, lounging in a bench endlessly puffing smoke after smoke of his Morley’s said, “Life is like a box of chocolates…” and I finished his sentence with the Forest Gump’s famous statement, “yewl neiver know wat yew gonna geyt”. Instead CSM continued,

With this statement, I was once again struck with the irony of life. CSM lead a life of hostility, deceit and violence. He was obviously a very lonely man. His colleagues saw him as a shooter whose solution to almost every problem is to eliminate it, literally. He’s only able to express his longings of love and humanity through his writings. He considered quitting and for once in his life, his deepest yearnings were within his reach. Life is cruel and he was not given the chance to change. He bought another pack of Morley’s and so he chose the darker path of life.
